Danni and Adam had an absolutely stunning fall wedding at the Coto Valley Country Club in Trabuco Canyon, Ca. The Coto Valley Country Club is hidden behind the gates of the luxurious Coto de Caza community, home to events from the 1984 Summer Olympics! Danni and Adam chose to decorate this already picturesque venue with blush and champagne flowers, although it truly was not necessary as the trees were bursting with fall colors.

With their ceremony held at St Paul of the Cross in Park Ridge, IL, and portraits taken at the Dominican University in River Forest, IL; it was definitely an adventure! With a color palette of of blushes and champagne, the decor looked straight out of a fairy-tale. Easily one of my favorite moments of the day was watching the two them enter their reception space, and just gasp at the beautiful display that all of their dreaming had created.

I cannot imagine a more beautiful location to have a vintage inspired greenhouse wedding then here. Not every wedding needs a million people, and for these two they chose their dream location in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and combined it with their love of vintage decor.

Besides the beautiful location, what makes Josie’s senior session so much fun is that she is the amazing daughter of my favorite local small business owner, Laura Lee's Double L Country Store. I had gotten to know Josie over the last year while frequenting her Mom’s store, so it was an absolute treat to get to hang out with her while exploring some beautiful Nebraska wilderness.

I have known Breanna since we were 8 years old, and watching her grow into a beautiful mama has been so wonderful. Charlotte came crashing into the world a little bit early, interrupting her mama’s plans for maternity photos. So I was so happy we got to finally meet up, just with this little bundle of the joy out of the womb and not in.

Traveling from Austin, Texas; these two combined Aurel’s Romanian culture and Sarah Elizabeth’s love of the American River to create one unique and unforgettable romantic wedding.

There is so much that I love about Valerie and Cody and our engagement session around Chicago, IL, but how much they love Chicago is definitely the highlight.
Our engagement session tracks their love story, and the places they went leading up to Cody’s winter proposal. We started off our engagement session at Elaine’s Coffee Call in Lincoln Park, Chicago, IL; the very first coffee shop these two frequented together, and traveled out to The Art Institute of Chicago in downtown, where they would wander around the art, or Cody would wait for Valerie to get out of class. Our last stop was definitely the most meaningful, as Cody proposed to Valerie on a winter Chicago, IL day at the Oak Street Beach, a few minute walk from the picturesque North Avenue Beach.

It’s hard to explain if you don’t know anyone, but Allison and Jeremy are van-lifers. Or RV lifers at any rate. They travel around the country with their dog, Raya, seeing new sights on the daily. We were able to get together when they were visiting their family in Colorado and do some exploring ourselves!

Known for their famous 'Pirate Tower’, Victoria Beach is incredibly picturesque with its white sand beach and historical accolades. The downside of any beach engagement session would definitely have to be how the ocean just knows that you are wearing white, but Christina and Dane laughed all the way through their session- even after being soaked to the bone!

What made Emily and Matt's wedding day special at Quail Ranch in Simi Valley, Ca was their dream to have the perfect unperfect wedding that reflected their love and unconventional relationship. Emily dreamed of an unpolished look, fulfilling it with mismatched rose and cream bridesmaid dresses and free-form cascading bouquets. The two of them also dreamed of an outdoor wedding!

When a Southern California rain storm swept through the area with warnings of floods, the whole wedding day had to change plans quickly, in true wedding fashion. Even with torrential downpour on the horizon, you could absolutely not tell by the love between these two. Having been together since High School, Gaby and Josh knew that they had waited long enough to get married, and made the best of a wet situation. Luckily for everyone, the rain storm subsided as quickly as it came, and we were able to have the wedding that they always dreamed of.

Kassidy and Andrew were married at the Carondelet House in Los Angeles, Ca, and the whole night was full of beautiful unique details that I swoon over every time I think about it. To start with, Kassidy and Andrew decided to have an evening wedding, starting the actual celebration just as the sun was setting. Their ceremony also started and ended with readings from "The Awesome Book of Love," which mentions dinosaurs, which I am an absolute sucker for. I had to look it up after the fact just to be sure the amazingness I though I had heard. The whole things was also Spanish inspired, a theme that expanded into the Cuatro Caminos Arts & Flamenco group that entertained both the wedding guests during the ceremony and cocktail hour, but also taught dances. The whole evening also had a giant focus on food, with not only a pizza truck arriving at the end of the night, but homemade salsa as their wedding favors. I scattered quotes from the amazing Kassidy throughout this blog, and you’re going to love her as much as I do after you read it all!
Jacob and Chris had an incredible, glamorous wedding and I love that it was featured on Equally Wed!
Photographing Jacob and Chris’s elegant and fashion forward wedding at the Westlake Village Inn in Westlake Village, Ca was pretty much what every photographer dreams a wedding will be like! From their Gucci suits to their unique ceremony at the Lakeside Arbor, their dark green and white wedding palette even matched the Provence Reception Room lake.

Sierra and Josh live in California, and are having their wedding in Lake Tahoe at the The Ridge Tahoe, and just so happened to be in the area for a family member’s wedding in Colorado! I have known Sierra since High School, so getting to photograph her nuptials definitely brings an incredible amount of joy to my heart.

The only thing missing from this session was their two pups, that luckily were able to accompany us for their family session last year.
