From matching troll dolls to colorful hair and makeup to mooning the Amtrak train as it zoomed by, Elise and Eric’s wedding day was absolutely one-of-a-kind! Anyone who’s had the absolute joy of meeting these two could never possibly expect anything less. By choosing to host it at the campground where they got engaged, their Rancho Del Rio wedding in Bond, CO, became the perfect blend of the sensational and the sentimental.

Towering hedges. Dappled sunshine. Brilliant flowers in every shade imaginable. And a bride and groom promising to love each other ‘til death and beyond.
Read MoreI don’t know about you, but if you ask me, a wedding where the couple dresses their dog in a suit and tie is pretty hard to beat. At Hayley and Nathan’s wedding at The St. Vrain in Longmont, CO, their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Percy, walked the aisle in a black-tie getup. And while that was definitely a stand-out moment, this wedding day was bursting with memorable moments. So, let’s take a walk back through this incredible wedding day at one of my most frequented locations: the always stunning St. Vrain.
Read MoreIt’s not every year that we get winter in May, but it just so happened when it was time to photograph Callie and Ben for their Colorado engagement session. After a few conversations about the best location to go to accommodate their two dogs, Lexi and Smoky, we decided on The Trading Post Trail outside of the Red Rock Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. I absolutely love photographing at this location, as the trademark red rock formations are a photographer’s dream!
Read MoreEmma and Aaron weren’t about to end their festivities with just one backyard wedding! While they officially tied the knot in their cozy Denver backyard wedding, the massive celebration they’d always envisioned was held in the next year in the fall at The St. Vrain in Longmont, CO. After a downsized wedding due to COVID restrictions, this up-sized one was a blast!
Read MoreAmy and Mark’s love story started in true rom-com fashion: talking crap on the softball pitch. OK, so it wasn’t exactly an “eyes-met-across-the-bookstore-while-reading-poetry” situation. But it sure was the epitome of who Amy and Mark are as people—fun, hilarious, and downright amazing! Their big day began at The Maven Hotel at Dairy Block, where Amy got ready in the bridal suite with her sister and her mom.

When Toni reached out to me saying she and her fiancé Chris were headed to Chautauqua in Boulder, CO, for a June destination wedding, I knew I had to be the one behind the camera!

It’s not every day that a groom says, “will you marry me?” and “I do” in the exact same spot. But when Eran asked Carrie to marry him at the beautiful Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, he suspected they’d be back for a Mount Princeton wedding celebration! I loved photographing Carrie and Eran’s beautiful wedding at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort. They chose all-day coverage, so I was able to stay until the very end of the night, capturing every unforgettable moment.
Read MoreAlex and Wyatt’s beautifully snowy wedding at The Manor House in Littleton, CO, was the perfect mix of class and Colorado mountains! It was late May, the perfect time for a beautiful spring wedding. Only, Mother Nature had other plans—she wanted to wear white for Alex’s big day, too. That’s right. It snowed! What a typical Colorado thing to happen!
Read MoreThere is absolutely no better way to spend an engagement session at Guanella Pass then by bringing your dog and a picnic blanket- and of course going in the fall. Maggie and Jon knew they wanted those magic fall colors for our meetup, so we watched the weather and we were rewarded immensely by the verdant yellow colors. With Bear in tow, we were stoked to go on a short little journey and be able to not only see the trees this area is so famous for, but immerse ourselves in them!
Read MoreDid an engagement session with a paddle board legend really happen if you didn’t go paddle boarding? I think not. I met up with Elise and Eric for their stand up paddle boarding (SUP ) engagement session at Chatfield State Park in Littleton, Colorado. This beautiful park centers on the expansive reservoir fed by the South Platte river and boasts views of rolling hills and abundant wildlife. While all that would normally be my focus when out at such a place, my task today was to capture Elise and Eric in their true element for their engagement session!
Read MoreI have always wanted to photograph an engagement session at Loveland Pass in Colorado, and Isabel and Danny were up for the drive. Loveland Pass is a high mountain pass boasting an incredible elevation of 11,990 feet above sea level, and there is even a sign you can take pictures with to prove it! After pulling up to this stunning location, we were greeted with a bit of rain. Luckily for us, it stopped almost instantly!
Read More2020 was a monster of a year, but it did give me a chance to get to know Carrie and Eran just a bit better before their Mount Princeton Hot Springs wedding in Colorado! With a portion of Eran’s family traveling from overseas, they had to postpone till the next year while waiting for international travel restrictions to lift- which I totally get. These two have a whole weekend of wedding events planned, and having the whole family together for them will make for an unforgettable experience.
Read MoreEmma and Aaron are exactly the kind of adventurous but laid-back couple I can’t get enough of. These two spent the first year of their relationship traveling together to decide if they were “the one” (they were, of course!). Even though they’ve traveled all over, they chose to have their October 2020 wedding back home in Denver. But due to COVID restrictions, they had to adjust their original plan and postponed their bigger bash to September 2021. They didn’t want to cancel altogether, however, so, like many couples in the last two years, they opted for two weddings! And lucky me—I was invited to document both!

It was only fitting to go back to this magical place with both Julia and Joey for their engagement photos. These two are king and queen of a cute meet story, starting their dating adventure at Joe's Pizza and Joe Coffee in New York City.
Read MoreIt’s not every day that I get to photograph not only a brunch wedding in the middle of fall at the incredible picturesque Boulder Creek by Wedgewood Weddings in Boulder, Co; but also a wedding for two dear friends. Shannon and Robert aimed for something low key and inviting, thus the bacon filled brunch, but far enough into the mountains to make it feel remote.
Read MoreMeeting Sarah and Jake at Red Rocks Park in Morrison, Co for their engagement session was the perfect snowy beginning to our future relationship. There is not much better than a quick snow storm and 20 degree temperatures to bring everyone just a little bit closer, including these two sweet souls for their engagement pictures! After countless reschedules involving beautiful locations all over Colorado, we were blocked at every turn from restrictions, colossal snowstorms, and schedules. Luckily for us, we finally found a time and a location we could meet at, and the winter weather was definitely in our favor- even if it was just a bit chilly.
Read MoreColorado is the ideal destination to experience some fall colors, and it makes for the perfect location to take some fall colored photos together. Guanella Pass is an incredible example of a location just brimming with beautiful yellow and orange colors, and a great Colorado spot to capture some engagement photos, especially if you have a dog! Which Hayley and Nate do!
Read MoreThe best part of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado is that you can stop absolutely anywhere (within reason!) and take some incredible engagement photos. This is such a welcome ideal when it is the middle of fall, and the aspens are a beautiful shade of yellow. Kayla and Kyle had dreams of getting married the weekend we met up in RMNP, but Covid had other plans and we instead embarked on an adventure to find the fall colors these two love.
Read MoreAfter Shayla and Dave insisted on climbing mountain sides at Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, Co, hanging out at 12,000 feet at the top of Trail Ridge Rd for the end of their engagement session was a breeze. Pun intended, because we were all frozen within minutes from the wind! The tragic wildfires lately have made sunsets around our beautiful state of Colorado incredibly hit or miss- and we were so lucky to get a clear evening on top of the mountain.
