I had the absolute pleasure of getting to not only travel up to Fort Robinson State Park in Crawford, Ne for this maternity session, but also to get to meet this sweet as can be couple. Jenna is the daughter of my favorite local small business owner, Laura Lee's Double L Country Store, and after hearing stories of this incredible woman, it was a blessing to get to put a face to those stories!

Having photographed their wedding in 2016, and their family over the last couple of years; I am so thrilled to see this beautiful couple be blessed with a baby girl. The only thing missing from this session was their two pups, that luckily were able to accompany us for their family session last year.

We decided to do her maternity session by the ocean, well, since it’s Hawaii, but it’s also the place she feels the most at home. The little bundle of joy she is pregnant with in the first half of these photos, is later named Makai, meaning “toward the sea”, which is exactly what Danielle did the entirety of her pregnancy.

Roberts Christmas Tree Farm in Pollock Pines, Ca provides the perfect holiday backdrop for not only maternity photos but family photos. Their little girls played with leaves, looked for fairies, and climbed tree stumps in this beautiful woodsy area. It was hard to not fall madly in love with this family, and baby fever is a real thing when you get to hang out with two kids as sweet as these.

These two are the two sweetest people you will ever find, and their wedding back in 2016 at Gerry Ranch in Camarillo, Ca was the definition of hot hot hot; literally, it was 104 degrees that day. What made this so much better was their mutual love of boats. They wore basically the cutest hats for their engagement shoot, and they tied in perfectly with the Ventura Harbor Village for their maternity shoot. From boats to this stunning Juniper tree, this entire session was a piece of sunset heaven. Their soon to be baby girl, Juniper, would definitely agree. Read MoreIt is the year of the Stahl’s; with them getting married earlier March 2017, adopting Mr. Archie a few months before hand, and now 7 months later being pregnant with a gorgeous baby boy. We met back up at High Hill Ranch up in Placerville, Ca for Marlee’s maternity shoot; not just so I could buy an Apple Pie for Thanksgiving, but also because the sunsets you get amidst the apple trees are just gorgeous. It was such a pleasure getting to hang with their family again, and I swear Ava is growing like a weed. Still a dancer, and so many more sentences being said. I love this family, and can’t wait to meet their little boy Kylan whenever he decides to come.

When they celebrated their 1 year anniversary, they wanted a photo shoot at the same venue that they got married at exactly a year later! The day was full of some amazing surprises; starting with Johnny bringing their wedding vows. Something that Brittany did not know about! After re-enacting their ceremony site, their first kiss, and even a sunset picture next to the lake we called it a day. What both Johnny and I found out later though, was that Brittany was pregnant on this anniversary with a baby boy! I’m pretty sure surprise maternity shoots are my new favorite things.

Megan and I were so absolutely blessed with not only finding some snow, but a beautiful roaring river in Truckee, California for her maternity session. The temperature was cold, and Megan battled the snow for her baby bump photos like a champion. We even were able to get a peak of sunset while shooting. Pink Blush Maternity made for the perfect outfit to match the beautiful environment.
I had so much fun meeting up with Summer for her maternity session at Henningsen Lotus Park in Lotus, Ca, otherwise know as Lotus Park. The American River was a beautiful backdrop for a beautiful mama to be, especially as a location that her and her hubby frequent often.

I had the chance to photograph one of my gorgeous Santa Barbara brides from last September for her maternity session this past weekend! Erin and I traveled down to the picturesque coast of Laguna Beach, CA to capture her precious baby bump and were treated to the most perfect sunset.
