The Gardens at Los Robles Maternity session in Thousand Oaks, Ca | Brittany and Johnny

It was so much fun getting to photograph Brittany and Johnny for their Southern California maternity session, Starting off at Los Robles Maternity in Thousand Oaks, California one week into Brittany’s pregnancy, and ending at Manning Park in Santa Barbara, California close to her due date.

Brittany and Johnny were married at The Gardens at Los Robles, in Thousand Oaks, Ca and their wedding was just absolutely beautiful. When they celebrated their 1 year anniversary, they wanted a photo shoot at the same venue that they got married at exactly a year later! The day was full of some amazing surprises; starting with Johnny bringing their wedding vows. Something that Brittany did not know about! After re-enacting their ceremony site, their first kiss, and even a sunset picture next to the lake we called it a day. What both Johnny and I found out later though, was that Brittany was pregnant on this anniversary with a baby boy! I’m pretty sure surprise maternity shoots are my new favorite things.

Several months later we met back up at Manning Park in Santa Barbara, Ca, and Brittany was all baby bump and beautiful. Even though we had a cloudy day, something incredibly rare for Southern California, these two absolutely rocked their session. It was not long after this photo shoot that Brittany and Johnny had the opportunity to welcome a healthy and beautiful baby boy named Clayton into the world.
