I had the absolutely honor of photographing this gorgeous little girl after she was born for her indoor lifestyle newborn session in Los Angeles, California. Avery is the perfect, and currently now walking, little girl of the owner of MomEtc. This entire session was such a blast, filled with simplicity and love. You can tell how smitten these new parents are, and it's not hard to see why!

I've gotten the privilege of watching Monika launch Mom Etc, and since that site is so much about this beautiful little girl, it seems only right to talk about it in conjunction with this session.

"It all started when I was nine years old and immigrated to the U.S. from Poland and somehow ended up in beautiful Santa Barbara. Talk about a culture shock! From not knowing the language or any other human being except for my mom I quickly turned to writing. Which turned into diaries that became journals that transformed into scribbles on cocktail napkins… Which in the end became, well nothing. Lost in translation, young adulthood, trying to find my way through chaos."
