Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens Family Session | Eve

It was such a blast getting to photograph Eve for her Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens Cake Smash in Everett, Washington! We started off with some cute one-year-old photos, with Eve rocking a yellow jumper and sitting in a small wooden plane! Her dad can fly planes, so it only seemed appropriate to give Eve the opportunity as well.

The Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens are 3.5 beautiful acres of manicured paths and a sculpture garden in Everett, Washington. Guests have access to 10 themed gardens, several pavilions, and a ton of scenic sitting areas for all ages.

Afterward, we moved on to the more delicious part of the session, setting her up on the grass with a locally made cake. She was more than willing to share as she took tiny bites, but it wasn’t long before she was truly covered in delicious cake from Seatown Sweets in Kirkland, Washington. ! I don’t do cake smashes very often, but hanging out with Eve at Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens was so much fun!

I had actually photographed Eve a few times prior, getting to be present the day she was brought home from the hospital for a Fresh 24 Session and seeing her a few weeks later for a few Lifestyle Newborn photos. I even convinced her parents to rock a couple of local Washington maternity photos before she was born.

I can’t wait to see how big she is for her 2-year-old photos, and maybe convince her parents to jump in front of the camera for a few.
