Engagement Session at Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, Co | Emma and Aaron

I love shooting in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, because you can always find such an incredible variety of beautiful places to go. Emma and Aaron started their summer engagement session at Bear Lake, and even though it is June; there was still snow on the ground! Sitting at an elevation of 9,450 feet, this picture perfect Colorado alpine lake creates beautiful reflections of Hallett Peak, and other surrounding peaks in the Rocky Mountain ranges. Between practicing their wedding first dance and cuddling on rocks, Emma and Aaron had what anyone could describe as a perfect Colorado engagement session. After photographing at Bear Lake, we jumped on over to Moraine Park- which was easily just as gorgeous without all the alpine vibes!

The only thing that could have made this incredible session better was getting to include Emma and Aaron’s dog Quinn! Sadly for me, Rocky Mountain National Park does not allow dogs on trail, but luckily, I will get to share that adorable Bordoodle after their wedding at The St Vrain in Longmont, Colorado this fall!
