Moraine Park Engagement Session at Rocky Mountain National Park | Emma and Aaron
If you’re a photographer, close your eyes, because yes, I walked away from this incredible Rocky Mountain National Park engagement session with 3,800 images. But when your couple is as fun and kind as Emma and Aaron, how could I not spend the whole summer afternoon in one of the most stunning Colorado engagement session locations?
We kicked things off at Bear Lake, where the light was soft, the trees were glowing, and Emma and Aaron made it feel like a laid-back wedding day warm-up. They were full of laughs and so natural in front of the camera—whether holding hands through the trees or giggling during a quiet moment by the water.
From Bear Lake to Moraine Park
After soaking in Bear Lake’s charm, we wandered down to Moraine Park, where the light absolutely showed off. The golden hour sun wrapped around them as they practiced their first dance, threw in a few of their favorite reception dance moves (including a few twirls and dips), and popped a bottle of champagne riverside to toast their upcoming wedding.
This session wasn’t just beautiful, it was personal. Between the laughs, champagne toasts, and quiet moments, it felt like the perfect rehearsal for what’s to come. That’s the kind of energy I love to document.
Why I Love Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Sessions
I absolutely love photographing in Rocky Mountain National Park, the variety of landscapes, the mountain light, and the sense of peace and adventure all wrapped in one. It’s easily one of my top recommendations for couples planning a Colorado mountain engagement session.
Emma and Aaron made the experience even more magical with their adventurous spirit and heartfelt connection. We had so much fun exploring, and I’m counting down the days until their fall wedding at The St. Vrain in Longmont, Colorado, a modern venue that blends industrial charm with warm, romantic vibes.
Planning your own Rocky Mountain engagement session, dreaming of a Longmont wedding, or just want to adventure with someone who gets it? Let’s make it real, and fun.
