Garden of the Gods motorcycle Engagement Session in Colorado Springs, Co | Shannon and Robert

Shannon and Robert chose Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Co for their engagement session for one simple reason: motorcycles. The scenery isn’t bad either, as Garden of the Gods is home to an abundance of beautifully colored rock formations. A couple of hours South from Denver, Colorado, Garden of the Gods provides an incredibly picturesque location for not only hiking, rock climbing, but also engagement sessions and other photo-shoots.

What I love about this particular session, besides having met Shannon in college, is their love of riding motorcycles together. My knowledge of motorcycles is pretty insignificant, but just watching these two coordinate their couple trips together was an absolute joy. I always encourage my couples to bring a hobby, or pet to their engagement sessions, and it’s hard to top a couple riding up on theirs. I am so excited to get to photograph Shannon and Robert’s upcoming wedding at Boulder Creek by Wedgewood Weddings in Boulder, Co this fall. Minutes from downtown Boulder, this stunning location is, you guessed it, right next to a creek.
