It’s incredible how love stories evolve, and Stephanie and Franco’s journey is no exception. I had the pleasure of meeting up with them at the stunning Kubota Gardens in Seattle, WA for a special photo session with their dog, Winky. Winky, who is 8 years old, was adopted by Stephanie and Franco from a shelter when they were living in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
It was such a blast getting to photograph Eve for her Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens Cake Smash in Everett, Washington! We started off with some cute one-year-old photos, with Eve rocking a yellow jumper and sitting in a small wooden plane! Her dad can fly planes, so it only seemed appropriate to give Eve the opportunity as well.
I love hanging out with the Pellegrini clan and photographing their growing family! We brought out a whole brood of them this round and started our time together with some individual and group photos. Their family owns a ranch in California, and it is simply a photographer’s dream to get to hang out there with the California setting sun and sprawling hills.
I always love meeting up with Stahl Family year after year, and it is made even sweeter by having started this journey before they were even married! We chose this year to meet up at Folsom Lake, and even though the water level isn’t quite what is used to be, the surrounding area is still beautiful. Every year the Stahl family tries to choose a new fun location, and this year chose the Folsom Lake Marina.
I was so excited to get to see Emily and Matt again after photographing their wedding several years prior. We met up at Vasona Lake County Park in Los Gatos, California, and were welcomed by a burst of colorful trees. Fall is such a special time, and definitely one of the best times to do a family session!
Hanging with the Saldutti family is always a highlight to any day or even any wedding, as I am lucky enough to get to see these smiling faces pretty often. We were able to get together the morning after a wedding in Winters, Ca and create some new memories for their little family. October doesn’t always look like Fall in California, but at least their yellow pallette let us pretend a little bit.
I absolutely loved this surprise lifestyle newborn session in Crawford, Ne; even more so because I love Jenna and David! Asher was the quintessential surprise baby to the family, so he was welcomed into this world in a plethora of yellow and grey accents. It was super important to these two that their first born child, Sadie, was also included in their photography session. Sadie is a slightly spoiled, but all together perfect big sister to Asher, and absolutely fell into her roll as new protector for her baby brother.
I had the absolute pleasure of getting to not only travel up to Fort Robinson State Park in Crawford, Ne for this maternity session, but also to get to meet this sweet as can be couple. Jenna is the daughter of my favorite local small business owner, Laura Lee's Double L Country Store, and after hearing stories of this incredible woman, it was a blessing to get to put a face to those stories!
