Do I need to be engaged to take photos? | Olivia and Will
Absolutely not! You do not have to be engaged to take photos, you just have to be in love. Which Olivia and Will have absolutely no shortage of. After being together for 7 years, these two have already created a lifetime of memories together in Chicago, Illinois. Meeting while playing tennis, it’s not an uncommon scene to see them both back on the tennis court- kicking ass and taking names.
I had the opportunity to meet Olivia and Will during one of my beautiful trips to Chicago, where for our anniversary, my fiancé Robin and I decided to live it up and stay directly adjacent to the Chicago Riverwalk. With views from the LondonHouse Chicago, Curio Collection by Hilton staring down at not only the Chicago Riverwalk, but also the The Wrigley Building. I would be hard pressed to name a more picturesque (and that’s coming from a photographer!) or more convenient location!
Some would say I’m a workaholic, but it’s hard to not want to get out and photograph an in love couple when staring at such views all day! With a frantic post to Instagram for a model call, one of my wedding couples Clara and Clarence shared it around, and I was blessed with Olivia and Will in my inbox (and with availability!). Olivia just so happens to be the cousin of Clara, and I’ll get to see both her and Will again at Clara and Clarence’s upcoming wedding in Illinois!
With a date and a time set, we all met up and headed down to the Chicago Riverwalk for their spur of the moment couple session. You never know what an adventure in Chicago might lead to, and I’ve had engagement sessions turn from sun to rain in minutes. Luck was on our side, and Chicago welcomed us with open arms!
I can’t wait for the pleasure of hanging with these two again at Clara and Clarence’s wedding! I love how small this world can be, and the amazing people in it!
