Montrose Harbor Engagement Session in Chicago | Lili and Jim
It is so fun to photograph in new locations in Chicago for engagement sessions, and when Lili and Jim suggested the Montrose Harbor, I was stoked! Not only is Montrose Harbor dog friendly, which is a must when you’re bringing your four-legged family member, but it also has some incredible views of the Chicago skyline. Located on the northern edge of Lincoln Park, Montrose Harbor is a short walk from Montrose Beach.
What I loved about getting to hang out with Lili and Jim near Lincoln Park is that it was not only where they got engaged but also where they enjoyed their first date. I’m glad they chose nearby Montrose Harbor instead, though, as we had the whole place to ourselves! It’s rare that you get to go somewhere in Chicago and photograph without crowds, so we were incredibly lucky to have the opportunity!
In true Chicago fashion, our entire engagement session was blasted with Lake Michigan wind. They do not call it the Windy City for nothing! Luckily for these two, they were dressed to impress—and dressed for wind. Lili decided to wear a cute and casual white summer dress, while Jim wore a navy blue button-up shirt. Copper donned a white bandana stating "My humans are getting married".
I’m so excited to photograph Lili and Jim at their wedding in Glenview and celebrate their love for another day. Do you want to get together and do a photoshoot in Chicago? Hit me up and let’s chat!
It was so much fun to photograph Lili and Jim and their adorable dog! Check out some more engagement sessions featuring dogs below!
