What is your photography style?

Inspired by the techniques I learned studying photojournalism, I am a true-to-life, true-to-color storyteller. Sure, I bring in a bunch of creativity along the way, but my main focus is on documenting the truth of your day as it happens. In fact, I want you to forget I’m even there until we get to work taking the perfectly posed photo for Grandma’s mantle!

You’ve mentioned this a lot, but what really does “all-day coverage” mean?

It’s exactly what it sounds like! From the first moment I’m allowed in until the last worn out, tipsy guest heads home, I’m there to capture it all with my camera. This way, you don’t have to stress about missed moments or choosing the correct hourly coverage option. You can simply trust that every significant moment and every tiny detail will be preserved.

Can I purchase that good looking album from you?

Absolutely, you can! And I recommend that you do! I’ve partnered with a local company that handmakes each album, guaranteeing unbelievable quality. They also ensure that the album photos will look exactly like they do on your computer screen without any clarity or color loss. We are so damn awkward, what do we do?

I feel this down in my bones because I’m the same exact way! I know how awkward posed photos -- even those staged spontaneous photos -- can be. This is why my approach is to document you just being yourselves. I’ll give you helpful tips and tricks to help you loosen up in front of the camera, and ideally, you’ll be so wrapped up in the moment you’ll forget I’m there!

Will you be there to photograph my day? Or will you send someone else?

Unless an extreme emergency arises, I’ll be the one hanging out with you on your wedding day! The experience I’ve created and the photos I offer are about so much more than an editing style, so I feel it’s essential that I be present to take your images. You definitely don’t have to worry about thinking you’ve booked me when you’ve actually booked just one in a stable of photographers I work with. And if you decide to book a second photographer for your day, it will be one of the extremely talented photographers I’ve partnered with and trust.

Do you travel?

Please and thank you! In fact, I’m so ready to travel that I don’t charge for travel within the continental United States! But if your dream destination wedding is outside the country, don’t worry. My passport is up-to-date, and I have a wedding destination package just for you.

How many images will we get in our final gallery? And when will we get them?**

Because my photography is so guided by your unique celebration, I hesitate to give an image minimum. But because my approach is to document everything, you’ll likely be shocked to see just how many photos you receive in your final gallery, each one beautifully edited. Your gallery will arrive 8+ weeks after the big day, but there will also be a flood of sneak peeks and slideshows to make the wait less painful! & believe me when I say, they are well worth the wait!
