I had so much fun getting to photograph Savannah and Leslie at Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park, Colorado for some woman empowerment portraits. Savannah and Leslie have been friends for what feels like forever, so it was only natural for her to come along for this last part of Savannah’s journey in Colorado, and capture not only Savannah and her Colorado vibes, but also their friendship and mutual adoration via portrait photography. We met up in Estes Park at sunrise, and traveled into Rocky Mountain National Park together, ready to create some magic.

I also absolutely love getting to meet other local vendors- so when the ladies said they were bringing on some amazing woman owned businesses in Colorado, I knew this day was going to be even more special. Working with Cecelia Kirby from Cecelia Hair for hair styling throughout the day made for some gorgeous looks across the wilderness of RMNP, and allowed us to change up the look! We even had the opportunity for outfits from Ida and Moon desert inspired vintage lifestyle wear for donning! What definitely brought joy to my heart though, was getting to work with Sarah from Hiouchi Jewels and seeing all her current pieces of art. I am such a sucker for local made jewelry, and tend to buy some whenever I am on one of my International travels! In the past I have photographed weddings, engagements, families and giggling newborns. I have photographed concerts, red carpets, Oscar after parties, and book signings. I have photographed non-profit events, rescue dogs, hoarders, school gardens, funerals, and surfing. While every genre of photography will hold a special and unique place in my heart, the true thing that ties them all together is the amazing people I get to meet along the way. 

This incredible portrait shoot in Rocky Mountain National Park with this group of talented and beautiful women was absolutely no exception.
