DIY Wedding at Stones and Flowers Santa Cruz Retreat | Angelina and Brandon

This wedding was featured on Something Turquiose for their awesome DIY elements!

Angelina & Brandon's rustic fairytale wedding in Ben Lomond, California at the gorgeous Stones and Flowers Santa Cruz Retreat was entirely incredible, and entirely DIY. The entire wedding was planned and completed by Angelina and their wedding party, down to the spray painted table settings, and floating heart in the barn. I knew beforehand that they were doing a lot of details themselves, and also that the location was going to be gorgeous, because hello, redwoods, but it’s hard to even put into words just how picturesque everything turned out. It truly was a modern day fairy tale in the woods!

Also! At the end of the year, Angelina & Brandon also won an award for their wedding through Something Turquoise, in their Best of Real Weddings

Something I definitely have to share, although I'll leave the rest for Something Turquoise is Angelina's favorite memory from the wedding day, since it is my favorite memory as well!

"My favorite wedding day memory would have to be when Brandon, our officiant, and entire wedding party broke into song! They all sang, Fly me to the Moon, by Frank Sinatra. It was a complete surprise that everyone hid from me. It was amazing. Brandon did a few solo verses of the song, and many of our non-singing wedding party joined him! It was such an awesome surprise, and so sweet. Definitely made our ceremony incredibly special!"

Such an amazing wedding up in Northern California, and I am so lucky that I got to experience. From the karaoke, to the beautiful venue, I can never say enough how much I love my job! Thank you Angelina and Brandon, and many congratulations.
